And now LHS Theatre is proud to present its own interpretation of this timeless tale! Students will begin auditioning soon for acting, singing, and dancing roles as well as technical roles, including specialties such as lighting and sound, to bring the story to life. The story will be adapted to a PG-13 version to make the show more available to our local audience while still remaining true to the original intent.


With current LISD construction projects to improve the Theatre department classrooms and shop area, our stage will not be available this year. So creativity and ingenuity will transform the Lewisville High School Cafeteria into a Greek Island paradise that will inspire you to stand up and dance with us all! Parents please note that this play is PG-13! The plot involves a girl who wants her father to walk her down the isle at her wedding but her mother doesn't know which of 3 possible men could be the dad! This makes for funny moments but also sexual content that could be inappropriate for younger children. Look for more details on show times coming soon, as our planned performances are November 7 & 8, and 14 & 15, 2025. This will be the first year for LHS Theatre to perform a show over 2 weekends!
